Rock Wall
The Indoor Rock Climbing
Wall is an exciting opportunity for climbers of all ages to challenge and
enjoy themselves in a fun and safe environment. Rock wall services include
a variety of classes with a focus on
climbing instruction, an
after school teen climbing program, and
rock wall parties!
You can choose to pay for a
membership to the Community Center or drop-in
and pay a daily fee. Not sure if rock climbing

Climbing Instruction
Introduction to Rock
Climbing
This introductory climbing class
will cover the fundamentals needed to climb safely in an indoor climbing
environment. Instruction will cover harness wear, tying in, belaying,
basic climbing techniques, signals, and climbing terminology. Students
must be at least 15 years old or accompanied by an adult to take the
class. Call for exact dates.
Day: Tuesday or Thursday (2 week session) See our Recreation Brochure.
Time: 7:00-8:30pm
Fee: $60/person
Parent/Child Instruction
Do you have a younger child who
wants to learn how to climb? Or perhaps you want to discover the joys of
climbing and share it with your kids? Sign up with them for this
semi-private class. Learn proper harness wear, tying into the climbing
rope and how to belay correctly. This is a perfect family activity that is
fun for all.
Day: By appointment
Time: By appointment
Fee: $75 for one parent and one child. $10 for each additional child.
Private Instruction
For those of you that prefer
one-on-one instruction.

Fee: $50/session
After School Teen Climbing
Program
For those "extreme" middle
school students, this program is a perfect way to meet new people, receive
quality instruction and improve your rock climbing skills. Instruction
will cover harness wear, tying in, belaying, basic climbing techniques,
signals, and climbing terminology.
Day: Tuesday or Thursday
Time: 4:30-5:30pm
Fee: $90/semester. You may choose to sign up for both days/week for
$180/semester.
Try-A-Climb
Come in and let one of
our trained staff members belay you. Cost for the introductory try-a-climb
is $10 for 30 minutes.
Monday -
Thursday 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Saturday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Sunday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Memberships
(all fees subject to change, please
call for current rates)
Membership includes use
of the indoor rock climbing wall. There are no registration, initiation,
or set-up fees. Prices are as follows:
$30.00 per month for one person.
$45.00 per month for two people living in the same household.
$54.00 per month for three people living in the same household.
Upgrade your current
Community Center membership by adding $15 per month to your current rate.
Daily Fees
$10.00 per visit.
$15.00 per visit for a parent and child.
