Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center is located on 27040 Malibu
Hills Road in Calabasas California.
- Take
the 101 Ventura Freeway to the LOST HILLS ROAD exit and turn
South

Turn right onto AGOURA ROAD
- Make
a left on MALIBU HILLS ROAD
- The
Community Center is on the right hand side

Rates
Upgrade
a current Community Center membership for only an additional $15/month
or join as a Rock Climbing only member for $30/month. Non-member
rate is $10/visit or $15/visit for a parent and child under 15
years of age. Equipment is available for rent.
Certification
Climbers
must be at least 15 years of age or accompanied by an adult to
use the climbing wall. Climbers must also be able to pass a climbing
skills certification test or be accompanied by a Community Center
certified climber.
The
climbing certification test consists of demonstration of proper
harness wear, tying correctly using either a figure-eight rewoven
or a double bowline and demonstration of proper belay techniques.
Non-certified guests may accompany a certified climber, though
they must still sign in with the front desk, sign a waiver and
pay the open climb fee of $10.
Certifications
cost $5. This is non-refundable. If you pass the certification,
the $5 will be used as a 50% discounted fee towards your first

Policies
- You
must check in with the front desk before entering the climbing
room. Certified climbers will be issued a green belay-certified
card which must be displayed at all times when in the climbing
room. Non-certified guests will receive a red card which must
be displayed. Please return the cards when you leave.

In order to gain access to the wall, you must first pass a climbing
certification test. The climbing certification test consists
of demonstration of proper harness wear, tying in correctly
utilizing either a figure-eight rewoven or a double bowline,
and demonstration of proper belay techniques. In addition, you
must also be at least 15 years of age or accompanied by an adult
or companion of at least 15 years of age. Non-certified guests
may accompany a certified climber, but they must still sign
a waiver and pay the open climb fee of $10. The non-certified
guest is allowed to climb only, not to belay. (Certifications
cost $5.00. This is non-refundable. If you pass the certification

DO NOT STEP ON THE CLIMBING ROPES!

Ropes are to be used to belay climbers, not to swing on.

No climbing above the anchors.
- No
bouldering underneath the auto-belay while they are in use.
Please do not boulder any higher than six feet off the ground.

While using the auto belay, be careful to stay in line with
the anchor, and do not traverse too far to either side.
- Please
remember to replace the accessory cord to the auto belay when
finished and gently let it raise to its top point.

Please be careful when exiting the climbing room to avoid tracking
the rubber flooring into the gym.

If you discover a loose hold, please inform a staff member and
they will attend to it.
